Cleaning Out the Camera: Part Two - The Soft Side of Street Art

Friday, December 9, 2011

As a knitter, hopeful future crocheter, and fan of street art, I was delighted to see these bursts of yarny goodness while visiting my family back in August. The downtown area of Waukesha was always pretty average (not to mention, a little dreary) when we were growing up, so it was nice to see some cool stuff happening on my return visit.

I've lived quite a few places in my 27 years, but I have to say -- Wisconsin definitely has something charming goin' on.

  1. I really want to see a yarn bombing! I have yet to find one around Phoenix... I used to have a roommate from Waukesha :)

  2. Small world! :)

I think this yarn bombing was a little on the more organized side (put together by an arts group) but still great!
