Cleaning Out the Camera: Part One - A Milwaukee Alley

I recently remembered that I took a few pictures when I was in Wisconsin visiting family just before leaving the States in August. Not many but just enough to share, so I dug out the ol' point and shoot. These ones were taken while in the Historic Third Ward of Milwaukee with my little brother and his girlfriend (who is pictured). I just never seem to be able to get enough of urban alleyways... the bricks... the fire escapes...

Now that I don't have access to Netflix and Hulu, and it appears that my last salvation when it comes to watching American movies (my computer's DVD drive) has decided to stop working, I have started to listen to a lot more music than usual. This increased consumption of music has led me to look for new stuff to listen to. I have found a few good Danish bands, but sometimes you just crave the familiar, ya know? So, I was excited to hear that some old friends of mine in Milwaukee from the band Trolley just recently released a new album -- Things That Shine and Glow.
