Spray Cans

While out on a walk this weekend, I discovered a little part of the city that I hadn't come across yet. It was covered in tags and graffiti, and littered with spray cans. It was beautiful! Definitely one of my favorite parts of Vejle. Though much of it seemed impromptu, some of it seemed to be an organized arm of a defunct gallery.

As a knitter, hopeful future crocheter, and fan of street art, I was delighted to see these bursts of yarny goodness while visiting my family back in August. The downtown area of Waukesha was always pretty average (not to mention, a little dreary) when we were growing up, so it was nice to see some cool stuff happening on my return visit.






I've lived quite a few places in my 27 years, but I have to say -- Wisconsin definitely has something charming goin' on.
